Fees - 2023/24 Season

Our fee schedule is structured as an all inclusive model*, with the goal of covering the majority of  operating costs for the rowing season.

Our club runs an all-inclusive fees model*. We want to ensure crew members experience everything a full season of rowing can bring. The club appreciates that rowing is not cheap, but rowers and their families really do get value for money during the year. Fees contribute towards:

  • Multiple on and off-water training sessions each week during the season.

  • Lake Karapiro training camps with accommodation, food, and coaching (excludes Y8s)

  • Weekend regatta camps with accommodation, all food, coaching, supervision, and race fees.

  • Regattas at Lake Pupuke or other regional lakes and rivers, including coaching and race fees.

  • Use and maintenance of rowing boats, rowing equipment, safety equipment, and safety boats throughout the season.

  • Specialist training for Coxswains.

There are many other costs that are not covered by your rowing fees.  As a not-for-profit organisation we must therefore work hard as a community on fundraising, sponsorship, and grant applications to ensure we keep rowing fees as cost effective as possible. On top of our operating costs, we must also raise funds to purchase new boats and equipment.

Schedule of Fees

Fees are to be paid on a monthly schedule spread equally over 5 months from date joining, to be paid at month end.
