College Sport Auckland Schools Regatta

This was a new regatta this year organised by College Sport. Given the short timeframe given to organise attendance and it being a single-day regatta at Karāpiro, we only took Senior crews, as a trial. Now that we have experienced the regatta, we will look to make further plans for next season.

The senior squad had a brilliant day on the water in excellent conditions. With a 4:30 AM wake-up call the squad and supporters drove down to Karāpiro and were shortly on the water and in medal contention.

Head Coach Sam Grant is pleased with the on-water performance of the crews seeing steady improvement as we build towards the end of the season.

A great day for TGSRC with three Division 1 bronze medals added to the club’s tally.
